Join PYM DMV in commemorating Palestinian Prisoners Day as part of the Global Week of Action to honor the steadfast struggle of our political prisoners and reaffirm our collective commitment to liberation

Just one week ago, the Zionist entity voted in the new “Prisoner Execution Law,” legalizing death of Palestinian prisoners by hanging. Today, more than 9,300 Palestinians held in Israeli prisons are subjected to widespread acts of cruel, degrading, and inhumane forms of abuse, deprivation, and detention.

The program will include an exhibit highlighting the important historical moments in the Palestinian Prisoner’s struggle, a community painting activity and a showcase of the newest paper in collaboration with @wawog. A panel and Q&A will discuss the Freedom for Palestinian Prisoners campaign along with the current developments of our prisoners conditions in Zionist detainment.
The @sada_althawra choir will perform and lead a sing along of “Ounadikom” (I Call On You) by the late Ahmad Kaabour.
